Steve
Giddings has been a fixture of the lively Leek, Staffordshire music scene for
the last 20 years or so. He plays guitar, pedal steel, bass and dobro.
Occasionally picking a banjo unless asked not to.
Steve has long been a student of crackly old country, blues and jazz records
and has played in blues bands of various shapes and sizes including the locally
infamous Johnny Waterhouse Blues Band and now holds down (when he’s not
ceilidh-ing) an almost every Saturday residency at Leek's home of the blues
(and Leek Blues Festival) the Cock Inn.
Steve lives in Leek where he also teaches guitar privately and in local
schools. He’s extremely friendly and you can find him on Facebook.
